Daniel Palmentera has been wearing his heart on his sleeve and letting it out through his music for years. He's played in a variety of bands that have gained notoriety throughout the Northeast Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA regions. Most notably is the Akron, Ohio based My Mouth Is The Speaker, who just celebrated the tenth anniversary of their debut album, "Landmarks." When the band was ready to slow, Danny wasn't. He began playing solo shows all over Northeast Ohio and eventually landed upon the name Eighty-sixed, Kid as a pseudonym for his musical endeavors. At the beginning of 2020 he released the self-produced single, "Beach Bummed," which showcased his newly toned down, but even more personal approach to songwriting.

Daniel has since completed recording a batch of five new songs with producer Rob Parr (Dear Hunter, As Tall As Lions) that double down on his introspective and sincere approach to songwriting. Touching on themes of loss, transformation, and disappointment, the self-titled "Eighty-Sixed, Kid EP" put's Daniel's vulnerabilities front and center for all to hear.

As the pandemic rages on, and shows continue to be sidelined for the foreseeable future, Eighty-Sixed, Kid wishes he could be performing on stages, basements, and living rooms surrounded by his friends. Until then, these songs are a way to fill in some of those silent moments in need of melody.

"Eighty-Sixed, Kid" will be released digitally and on limited compact disc with an optional hand-printed tee shirt bundle by Cleveland's newly formed Endnote Records on October 30, 2020.
